In the opening of the workshop
Traffic Safety and the Role of Relevant Authorities in Reducing Traffic Accidents
Dr. Abdulmajeed Albanyan: Naif Arab University for Security Sciences
has established the Center of Road Traffic Safety to contribute to
reducing human and economic losses caused by traffic accidents.
NAUSS Headquarters - Riyadh Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS),
in collaboration with the European Roads Policing
24 Network (ROADPOL), organized a workshop titled
«Traffic Safety and the Role of Relevant Authorities
in Reducing Traffic Accidents» on Tuesday, July 4,
2023, at its headquarters in Riyadh. The workshop has
gathered 78 experts from 9 Arab countries: Jordan, the
United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Djibouti, Iraq,
Oman, Qatar, Libya, and Mauritania, in addition to
representatives from international organizations.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulmajeed bin Abdullah
Albanyan, the President of NAUSS, elaborated during
his opening speech that NAUSS is the scientific
body of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, and is
entrusted with implementing the scientific aspect of
